FAQ

What is JRA?

JRA by Rodor is an AI platform for fine jewelry: it provides market-informed valuations, analyzes jewelry imagery, checks grading certificates for consistency, and answers questions in plain English, all from one dashboard.

Who is it for?

Trade professionals (jewelers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and buyback businesses) and consumers. The professional tools are subscription-based; the consumer tier is free.

Is it really free for consumers?

Yes. Free for consumers is the founding design of the platform, not a promotion. Read Our Commitment for exactly what that means.

How do I try it?

Open the free JRA web app in your phone's browser; there is nothing to download. Take three photos of your ring beside a U.S. quarter on plain white paper, tell us anything you already know about it, and your estimate arrives in minutes.

What can it tell me about my jewelry?

A market-informed estimate of value, a consistency check on your grading certificate, and plain-English answers about your piece, useful before you buy, when you insure, when you need a documented value reference, and before you sell.

Can I use it for insurance?

JRA gives you documented, market-informed valuation output you can bring to your insurer or appraiser. Your insurer decides what documentation it requires. JRA makes sure you walk in informed.

Does it replace a grading lab or an appraiser?

No, it works alongside them. Laboratories grade stones; appraisers render formal opinions. JRA verifies certificate consistency and provides market-informed valuation so you can engage both with better information.

Does JRA get better over time?

Yes. JRA is built on a learning AI. Every piece it sees and all the market data it gathers help it improve, so its estimates grow sharper with more data and more time.

How do trade businesses get access?

Request access through the Get Access page. We onboard pilot accounts in cohorts; approved businesses are onboarded as each cohort opens.

What does it cost for businesses?

Plans are tailored by business type and volume. Contact us for a quote. The consumer tier is always free.
